In addition to providing financial support, there are many ways to support Kirkwood. Arrange to visit and use the facilities at Kirkwood for your Mission Board, Sunday School class, or other church and community group. Plan a work project for youth, adults, or older adults. We have a list of projects that we'll tailor to match the interests, skills, and availability of your group from work on the grounds, to cleaning, painting, organizing supplies, making calls to other churches on our behalf, etc. TRADE PROFESSIONALS - we are in need of your help. Also check our Calendar for scheduled "Volunteer Work Days". Ask us about becoming a volunteer leader for the summer camping season or for any other scheduled conference.
Find one person in your congregation or group who will serve as Kirkwood's promoter. Through this person's leadership, your church could plan an annual offering, other fundraiser or event for Kirkwood Camp and Conference Center. Share this information with others your church and speak out often about the mission of Kirkwood. Invite a representative of Kirkwood to speak to your church. Support Kirkwood in prayer.
A volunteer work day brings willing members of our church family to the grounds from all over the area. Your help is still needed! If you are unavailable to attend a scheduled work day, but would still like to volunteer, please contact our office to arrange a time to volunteer a service for your skill level. If you are unable to help physically, your care ‘n' share donations are appreciated:
